Who doesn’t love fall in NYC?
Sure, there’s apple picking upstate and brunching downtown, but mostly, September means New York Fashion Week (NYFW)! This twice-yearly event is a time when models and celebrities come from all over the world to debut the latest and greatest in high-fashion.
There are always so many brands doing cool things at NYFW, but this year, I’m all about relatable fashion. Of course, it’s fun to watch models wearing several thousand dollars worth of risqué dresses or hugely oversize knits that (let’s face it) I’m never going to buy nor wear. But I’m often working remotely, and because I spend my days in front of a computer, I gravitate towards comfy clothes. That’s why I was thrilled to see Ekouaer’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection!
As someone who likes comfy threads, I was already familiar with Ekouaer, a brand known for its accessible, yet luxurious lounge wear. But this also happened to be the first time Ekouaer took the stage at NYFW. The event featured two collections—one focusing on comfortable, elegant lounge wear, and another that spotlighted florals and the beauty of nature—and both did not disappoint.

“Pure Comfort, Soft Elegance”
I have two words for you: Helena Christensen!
The acclaimed supermodel and fashion icon opened the show, wearing a piece from the brand’s “Pure Comfort, Soft Elegance” collection. Specifically, she flaunted a blue silk pajama set and looked like a total smoke show. Yes, she’s wearing lingerie underneath for effect, but I’m obsessed with how chic this set looks, all while being supremely soft and comfortable.
The words chic and comfy probably best describe the whole collection, which is intended to inspire people to embrace their true selves and celebrate everyday life. Each piece is meticulously crafted and features soft, breathable fabrics. Talk about relatable!
I loved everything I saw coming down the runway at me, but I was most excited to learn that Ekouaer has a dedicated Amazon store. In other words, the runway fashion of NYFW can also be yours, and for an affordable price! Do you know how rare it is to find comfy PJs that look just as good as they feel?
I’m always scouring TikTok for chic lounge wear that I can wear while working, but that also doesn’t make me look like a crazy person when I answer the door and talk to the delivery man. Let me tell you—it doesn’t get much better than this!

Not only is this PJ set lightweight, breathable, and incredibly comfortable, it’s NYFW-approved! Style it with lingerie (à al Helena Christensen) for a sexy night in, add a cami or T-shirt for a perfect travel outfit, or simply wear it as is.
The set comes in multiple colors and I know I’ll be adding at least two or three to my wardrobe rotation!
“Floral Moments”
Ekouaer’s second collection was equally rooted in comfort, while highlighting florals and core nature elements. Think comfy silk pieces with floral motifs and colors that evoke the peace of an early morning mist, the beauty of a setting sun, and the serenity of midnight.
Created in collaboration with renowned Italian designer and co-founder of Nube Studio, Isabella Coretese, the special runway collection celebrates the essence of life and the incredible nature all around us.
One of my favorite pieces had to be this lightweight printed dress with its bold, floral motifs. It screams comfort, but that print is so trendy.
While I couldn’t find this exact dress on Ekouaer’s Amazon shop (yet, anyway), they have so much to shop—from satin silk pajama sets, to camis, dresses, and more.
