October might be the season of pumpkin spice everything, but it’s also an important time to shop with purpose. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here, and so many of your favorite brands are stepping up in partnership with leading breast cancer organization Susan G. Komen. That means when you treat yourself, or pick up a thoughtful gift for someone else, you’re also helping fund life-saving breast cancer research and patient support programs.
For me, this one feels especially meaningful. Like so many of you, I’ve seen loved ones impacted by breast cancer, which makes every opportunity to give back feel personal.
This year’s lineup includes everyday essentials, yummy eats, cozy must-haves, and more, all designed to give back. Whether you’re tackling your holiday shopping list or indulging in some self-care, these finds let you feel good about every purchase. Scroll on to discover the brands making an impact, and join us in shopping for the cure!

If you’ve been looking for a little extra motivation to hit the gym, here it is. Athleta’s limited-edition Train Free Bra, designed by Kristin Juszczyk (yes, the same Kristin who turns heads at every 49ers game), is as stylish as it is functional. Made with recycled SuperSonic fabric, it delivers sleek support and compression, perfect for medium-impact workouts like cardio, training, and HIIT. The strappy racerback design is beyond cute, and it keeps you cool while you move.
From October 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026, Gap Inc. will donate 13% of net sales from each bra directly to Susan G. Komen, so every sweat session supports a great cause. The 13% represents the approximately 1 in 8 women in the U.S. that will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Traveling is basically a given during the fall and holiday season. For me, it’s extra special this year because my sister is getting engaged, and we’re renting a car in California to surprise her. If you’re hitting the road too, consider booking with Avis.
From now through December 31, 2025, save up to 35% off with AWD #A349300, and up to 10% of your rental will support this important cause. And with Avis Budget Group pledging a guaranteed minimum donation of $150,000, your travels can help drive meaningful impact all year long.

One of my favorite ways to celebrate lazy fall weekends is with friends, a football game, and a big bowl of guac and chips. This season, Avocados From Mexico is giving us another reason to love everyone’s favorite dip.
From September 29 through October 31, 2025, look for special pink avocado bags in retailers across the U.S. as part of their Good Fats campaign. Avocados from Mexico is donating $100,000 to Susan G. Komen—so every batch of guac feels like a win (even if, like me, you root for the Jacksonville Jaguars and are destined for heartbreak).

My husband swears he was the best bowler in his high school friend group (jury’s still out on that one), and he’s always trying to convince me that we should go bowling for date night. Now, I finally have a reason to say yes: Bowl for the Cure. This national, year-round fundraising initiative, sponsored by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC), helps raise funds for Susan G. Komen and increases breast cancer awareness. Through Bowl for the Cure events and merchandise sales, a portion of proceeds goes directly to Susan G. Komen to support their mission.
Speaking of merch, there are plenty of ways to show your support off the lanes, too, starting with the comfy White Heather T-shirt ($35) and sparkly Logo Glitter Hat ($30). Oh, and I’m totally getting that pink, plush bat for my 3-year-old!
Donations
Not every gift comes wrapped in a bow. Through the CARS vehicle donation program, you can turn an old car (in any condition!) into something truly meaningful: support for Susan G. Komen’s mission. It’s an easy, tax-deductible way to clear space in your driveway while helping fund breakthrough research, patient support, and education programs for the breast cancer community.
To donate, call CARS toll-free at 877-77-KOMEN to speak with a representative, or fill out this vehicle donation form linked here.

I don’t know about your house, but mugs seem to mysteriously vanish in mine (or end up shattered by our toddler). So I already have my eye on the Rise and Shine Mug from Ford Warriors in Pink. It’s pink, cheerful, and supports a great cause!
The full collection makes it easy to shop with purpose: the Spiral of Life Women’s T-Shirt ($26.99–$32.99) adds a bright pop of color to your everyday look, the Shades of Hope Tumbler ($24.99) keeps drinks hot or cold while helping the planet, and the Winged Warriors Full Zip Hoodie ($59.99–$69.99) is cozy enough to reach for all season long. 100% of Ford’s net profits from Warriors in Pink wear and gear go directly to Susan G. Komen and Pink Fund to help provide transportation solutions for patients in need.

I love slipping into something soft and cozy after a long day, like Greensource’s “Benefiting Susan G. Komen” T-shirt collection. Made from a soft, cozy BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) cotton blend, these tees are perfect for lounging, layering, or gifting to someone who loves comfy, stylish basics.
Available exclusively at Walmart and Walmart.com during September and October, at least 3% of the retail price from each item sold benefits Susan G. Komen. With Greensource pledging a minimum $150,000 donation through their national pink sales promotion, every shirt you pick up helps make a meaningful impact.

In our house, rugs and carpets take a beating, especially with a dog and a toddler who are constantly testing their limits. So, I was thrilled to learn about Mohawk’s SmartCushion™ carpet padding, which enhances the feel and performance of your carpet while potentially extending the life of your rugs. And because Mohawk manufactures both the carpet and cushion, you’ll get a perfect match for your new carpet while supporting a great cause.
Through their Specify for a Cure and Decorate for the Cure programs, Mohawk is donating a guaranteed minimum of $375,000 to Susan G. Komen in 2025–2026. That means every home refresh is also an opportunity to give back. Find your local retailer and shop with purpose!

‘Tis the season… for bra shopping! And yes, I know—it’s not always the most exciting task. But this year, Wacoal makes it feel a little more festive and a lot more meaningful. At Fit for the Cure events September–November 2025, Wacoal will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for every woman who receives a bra fitting and purchases a regular-price Wacoal or b.tempt’d bra.
If shopping from home is more your jam, Wacoal’s mybraFit digital tool is a first-of-its-kind way to size yourself and get bra recommendations for your size and shape right from your phone. Wacoal will also donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for each person who completes mybraFit. All told, Wacoal is committing a guaranteed minimum donation of $125,000 in 2025 to support Susan G. Komen’s direct patient programs, including their free Breast Care Helpline and financial assistance.
