Women Are Swapping Their Boring Water For This Ice Pop Electrolyte Mix!
My daughter just entered the “I want that” phase, so whenever any remotely catchy commercial comes on TV, she starts in with the “I want thats.” This weekend, she could not stop talking about these Glitzy Pets sneakers from Stride Rite–seems like the commercial came on during every break–so finally I just took her to a store to look at them.
Much like Lelli Kelly shoes and Skechers Twinkle Toes, Stride Rite’s Glitzy Pets are like eye candy for little girls. Most of the styles are super colorful and have some element of sparkle. A few even light up with each step. Take a look:

So what do you think? I must admit I do think they look a little like those crazy fitness shoes everyone is wearing, but of course I see the appeal. They’re colorful, they light up, they come with charms–it’s a recipe for success. What I really like, though, is that looks aside Stride Rite is still committed to creating shoes that promote healthy foot development. The light-up soles don’t really impress me, but the attention to comfort and support–albeit in a very sparkly package–definitely does.
