Well, the name says it all. Throw blankets get thrown around the house. They get dragged along the floor when you’re grabbing a snack from the fridge. Your dog or cat might also think said throw blanket is theirs and lay on top of it. With that in mind, throw blankets get a ton of action, which leads to plenty of dirt.
Depending on how much you use your throw blanket will determine how often it needs to get washed. If you use it every day, then it’s at least once every two weeks. If you use it less often, then at least once a month. Make sure to wash your throw blanket according to the care directions.
