I’ve seen reviews of Rimmel’s Eyebrow Pencil at both ends of the spectrum, from “This pencil wore off my brows over dinner” to “Rimmel rocks!” The cynic that I am, I tend to believe the naysayers and save my money. However, when I ran out of my previous favorite eyebrow pencil while in London, I had to do something. I wasn’t trekking back to Harrod’s for a high brow brand (pardon the pun). So I walked around the corner to the local pharmacy and picked up Rimmel. I’d never used the brand before and it turned out to be THE perfect eyebrow pencil for me, which works no matter what color hair I have! The hazel shade is a cool brown that worked well when I colored my hair light brown and highlighted it with a little blond (I also bleached my brows). I sported this look for a while and really liked the lighter color. So when I went back to my natural off black hair, somehow dark Joan Crawford brows didn’t seem very “me” anymore. I stopped bleaching my brows, but the hazel pencil still works and doesn’t overpower my face. My vote on Rimmel? Yeah, Rimmel rocks! Find Rimmel Eyebrow pencil at Walgreens.com.
