It can be tricky to find a well-fitting dress if you have a large bust, but the five silhouettes below are always safe options.
Shirt Dresses
The great thing about button-up shirt dresses for women with a big bust is that they give you the opportunity to choose the amount of yourself that you reveal. And even if it slightly pulls at the top when buttoned all the way, you can wear it partially buttoned with a cute camisole underneath. By creating a long line down the front of your body, shirt dresses can also serve the purpose of minimizing the appearance of your bust. (Wide necks should be avoided, as they achieve exactly the opposite effect.)
A-Line Dresses
Dresses that are bigger on the bottom, like A-line dresses and those with fit and flare skirts, have silhouettes that work well on women with curvy bodies. The flouncy bottoms of dresses like these balance out fuller breasts on top. Look for dresses in sturdy fabrics that will hold their shapes instead of just hanging limply.
Wrap Dresses
Wrap dresses are great options for women with big breasts for a few reasons. First, the v-neck that’s made by the wrap creates a separation between your breasts that enhances their overall appearance. And, since they’re so easy to adjust, wrap dresses are probably one of the few or only styles of dresses that big-busted women won’t need to get tailored. Go for one in a stretchy fabric for maximum adjustability. Just make sure you have a pretty camisole to wear underneath, as it might peak out a little bit.
Potato Sack Dresses
Ok, they don’t have the most attractive name, but we promise potato sack dresses are a great look if you have a large chest. They’re one of the only options you’ll be able to find that will fit your chest properly without being too big just about everywhere else. The loose silhouette has the advantage of being incredibly comfortable, and will release you from any concern about defining your waistline. Sack dresses with hems that are just barely flared are especially great choices, as the width at the bottom helps to balance out your breasts.

Sheath Dresses
Sheath dresses, which have fitted cuts that hug the figure, are always solid choices for women with big breasts. The classic silhouettes show off every curve in an incredibly flattering way. If you’re worried about wearing something that hugs your stomach so closely, throw on some shapewear underneath the sheath dress.
