There are some things I never thought I would say in my entire life, like, “Sometimes I wish velour Juicy Couture tracksuits were back in style,” and, “There was literally nothing better than how they ended the series finale of How I Met Your Mother.” A third thing I thought I’d never say? “Sometimes I just wish I could wear a sweater that would make me feel like a muppet and/or give me an idea of what it’s like to have chest and back hair.” Well, it looks like I might have to start saying that third thing, because fuzzy sweaters are here, and they are here to stay.
You remember that neon green fuzzy sweater that Kristen Stewart wore for an appearance on The Tonight Show in late 2014, right? I remember it because I distinctly recall grimacing at the screen for several minutes, thinking that the trend would never catch on. That’ll teach me to stick to my day job and not go into fortune-telling, because at one of the many recent Fifty Shades of Grey screenings, Dakota Johnson wore one too! Although it was a black and white sweater that gave me an inexplicable Cruella De Vil vibe, but it was a fuzzy sweater nonetheless, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think she looked good. I don’t know if I’m quite ready to hop on to this trend parade just yet, but it doesn’t hurt to look, right? Click through our slideshow to see some of the best fuzzy sweaters you can buy, and remember, winter isn’t over yet…
