Lingerie and loungewear brand Aerie has been killing it lately. Not only are we obsessed with its comfy-cute approach to bras and underwear (sans itchy lace and overcomplicated silhouettes), but the brand also stands out by being inclusive and body-positive.For a few facts you might not have known about Aerie (and some major shopping tips!) just click on.

Aerie opened its first standalone store in Greenville, South Carolina back in 2006, and after its success, tons more quickly followed.

Aerie has made a promise to stop retouching or digitally altering all ads and photos that appear on its website, resulting in a shopping experience that's way more body-positive than heading to, say, Victoria's Secret.

This summer, for every unretouched swimsuit shot posted on Instagram using #AerieREAL, the brand has committed to donating $1 to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA).

When it comes to buying underwear, Aerie offers some pretty amazing bang for your buck--all underwear is 7 pairs for $27.50!

Aerie is actually a sub-brand of American Eagle Outfitters, despite the fact that they have their own stores.

American Eagle's rewards program works at Aerie too--meaning, you can rack up points toward major discounts. Oh, and for every five bras you buy, your sixth is completely free.
The Sunnie T-shirt Bra ($44.95) is Aerie's best-selling style and comes in both a lightly-lined and push-up option.

Aerie has even earned the approval of body-positive model Iskra Lawrence, who frequently models for the brand and has a page of her favorite pieces featured on the site.

The brand recently collaborated with Italian designer Cristina Tardito on a line of swim and beachwear that looks way more expensive than it is. We're in love with this girly mint V-neck one-piece ($59.95) from the collab.

While Aerie is best known for their ultra-comfy bra and panty selection, it also offers some solid options when it comes to lounge, PJs and swimwear. Case in point: this effortless, drapey poncho ($34.95).
