Due to political issues at the time, Free People's name was changed to Urban Outfitters in 1975.
Eventually, Haynes brought Free People back while keeping Urban Outfitters retail stores. In addition, he created Anthropologie in 1992. This is why Urban Outfitters is the parent company for Anthro.

Window displays at Anthropologie are either recycled and reused or donated to charity. Since the window display rotate every 6 to 8 weeks, and the interior displays are rotated more often than that, once a display’s time is up, it either goes into storage to be used again or is auctioned off for charity. For example, when butterflies created for the Greenville, N.C. store’s Earth Day celebration were sold, the proceeds were used to plant new trees.
