The struggle is real for girls with thick hair. Our homes are covered with stray strands, we can't do our own blowouts and air drying takes a full 24 hours (or more!). If this sounds like you, then you will definitely relate to these 15 #thickhairproblems in the slideshow. [Photos: Imaxtree, Shutterstock]

Going for a haircut and blowout takes at least an hour.

Sometimes there's even two hairdressers working on your hair at the same time just to speed up the process.

It sheds...everywhere.

People ask, "Why is your hair still wet if you showered five hours ago?" You answer, "Because, my hair takes a full 24 hours to dry, OK????"

Brushing your hair when it's dry is asking to look like Hermoine (in her early years, obvs).

Your friends, who have known you for years, still don't believe it takes 2 hours to do your own hair.

Your hair gets caught on anything it comes in contact with, and then you have to painfully pull it out (RIP those strands).

You get a headache when your hair is in a ponytail for more than 2 hours. There's just so. much. hair. to hold up.

Your shower drain clogs with hair on the reg.

You wake up or leave places early just so you have enough time to do your hair--it's an activity.

Low water pressure? You'll be in the shower for a good 45 minutes.

You will NEVER be able to cut it short because then you'll look like a triangle head #truestory.
