So many style-savvy A-listers have tried to convince us that baggy jeans, flared jeans, and even dad jeans are the sartorial way of life right now. But quite a few others have rebelled against this, and are trying to bring skinny jeans back!

Some people might argue that skinny jeans are “controversial,” given how popular the more relaxed fits are these days; but others will die on the skinny jeans hill forever. Check out how two of our favorite trend-setting A-listers, Kate Middleton and Natalie Portman, have worn skinny jeans in 2025, just in case you want some skinny jeans inspiration…

Anything the Princess of Wales wears is going to be an instant sell-out, so we wouldn't be too surprised to hear that those who were previously against skinny jeans may be willing to give them another try.

The mom-of-three, 43, recently stepped out in a pair of Massimo Dutti black skinny jeans when she and Prince William visited Scotland on their 14th wedding anniversary. She showed that jeans can be elevated when worn with shirts and blazers, as she teamed hers with a Boden blue linen button-up and a brown Holland Cooper herringbone double breasted wool blazer.

Natalie Portman

The May December actress, 43, is another style-savvy A-lister thanks to her polished and elegant looks both on and off the red carpet. And she recently proved that it's possible to look both chic and casual in skinny jeans!

Just last month while in Paris, the Dior ambassador rocked a pair of light-wash skinny jeans, with the silhouette juxtaposed with an oversized puffer jacket. She finished the look off with some simple white sneakers and sunglasses, and carried an iconic Dior book tote. The perfect effortlessly chic look!
