1. iMovie
Unless you're a student who sometimes has to make short films for projects, a person who makes online content, or an avid filmmaker and enthusiast, then you're likely not using iMovie and don't need to have it on your phone.
The app itself is pretty large, and it can quietly hold onto video files and projects you forgot were even there. Removing it can help your device feel less cluttered and run a bit smoother. Plus, you can always re-download it later if you actually need it.
2. GarageBand
Similar to iMovie, GarageBand can be a great app to keep on your phone if you like to make music on the go, or enjoy making some beats if you need to pass the time. However, most of the time, GarageBand tends to 'collect dust' on people's devices.
It comes with tons of built-in sounds and loops that take up storage even if you've never opened the app. Deleting it can quickly clear space and keep your phone feeling lighter, and, like iMovie, you can always download it again if inspiration ever strikes.
3. Maps
There are so many navigation apps out there these days, but most people who have to drive to and from work or commute in a busy city have their go-to. These tend to be third-party apps like Waze or Google Maps, meaning your preinstalled Maps app goes unused a lot of the time. If you need to free up space, you can delete it!
It can store cached map data and location info in the background, which adds up over time. Deleting it can help trim unnecessary storage and keep things simple, especially if it's not your go-to for directions.
