B-Complex Tablets

Nature Made Super B-Complex Tablets with Vitamin C and Folic Acid ($12.31)

One of the most important vitamins you can take for your metabolism is a vitamin B complex. This vitamin includes all 8 B vitamins since each plays a role in healthy metabolic functioning. Incorporating this vitamin into your diet is particularly crucial for vegans and vegetarians as most B vitamins are found in animal products.

Dr. Nikola Djordjevic, MD, a family physician and a medical advisor at Loud Cloud Health, explains, "The B vitamins are essential for healthy metabolism functioning as they help our body make the maximum use out of the nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, and fats."

Iron Tablets

Nature Made Iron 65 mg (from Ferrous Sulfate) Tablets ($5.94)

Dr. Djordjevic also recommends adding an iron supplement into your morning routine to help your metabolism. She explains, "Another essential nutrient for boosting metabolism is the iron - and it’s best taken in the morning, along with the B vitamins. Iron carries oxygen in erythrocytes or red blood cells. As such, it enables the proper production of certain hormones, which are regulating metabolism."

Vitamin C 500 mg Caplets

Nature Made Vitamin C 500 mg Caplets with Rose Hips ($6.70)

Dr. Djordjevic suggests taking vitamin C mainly because it makes the iron supplement more effective.

"It’s best to take iron along with vitamin C because vitamin C enables better absorption of iron," she explains to SheFinds.

Green Tea

Vegan Green Tea Extract with EGCG & Vitamin C ($17.97)

Green tea extract is another great supplement to add to your morning routine. Full of catechins and caffeine, this supplement can give you a burst of energy and aid your weight loss goals.

According to Healthline, "Green tea extract can aid weight loss by increasing the number of calories your body burns through thermogenesis."
