Dr. David Friedman explained to The Healthy that vitamin D supplements can help with weight loss. Dr. Friedman says that when you are low in vitamin D, your body converts sugar to fat instead of energy. He recommends certain vitamin D supplements for the best results. “I recommend D3 because it is much more effective at raising vitamin D blood levels than D2,” Dr. Friedman said.

Another great vitamin for weight loss is iron. According to Healthline, “iron plays a role in helping your body create energy from nutrients. Iron helps carry oxygen to all of the cells in your body, including your muscles. This, in turn, helps them burn fat.” How amazing is that?!
