Costco isn’t just a place where you can get bulk items at a good price—it also has a ton of dupes for expensive and name brand products for fractions of the price. We pulled a list of our favorite dupes from Costco based on price, quality, and overall customer appeal with the product. Keep reading for all the details.
1. Sol De Janiero Dupe
The viral Sol De Janiero Brazilian Bum Bum Cream has taken the internet by storm with so many glowing customer reviews. Who wouldn't want a cream that's proven to "visibly smooth and tighten the appearance of your skin thanks to potent, caffeine-rich Guaraná Extract," as it's described on the website? Well, it comes with quite the price tag, with one tub coming in just under $50 for a single tub.
At Costco, you can get two tubs for half the price, and it has over 100 reviews from customers: "This stuff has changed my skin during the dry months," one person wrote.
"The pink jar is a great dupe for Sol de Janiero," wrote another. "That cream is my absolute favorite scent!"
2. Lululemon Biker Short Dupe
Everyone knows that Lululemon has some of the cutest, comfiest, yet most functional workout clothing out there. It's hard to replicate, but customers at Costco think the store's found the perfect dupe. While the Lululemon Align Biker Short will run you $64, the Danskin Ladies' Bike Short only costs $18, and you get not one, but two pairs of the dupe shorts that look and feel identical.
"I have a pair of each and I honestly can't tell a difference in feel," one person wrote, comparing the Lululemon Align shorts to the Costco brand.
3. Grey Goose Vodka Dupe
For most experienced drinkers, Grey Goose Vodka is the only way to avoid a nasty hangover the following morning, but there's a reason the 21-year-olds opt for a different brand: one handle of Grey Goose Vodka can cost up to $75, depending on where you live, and that's a hefty price to pay for a lot of people. However, the Costco Kirkland brand Vodka is apparently just as good, according to customer reviews.
"Listen folks I tried this fully prepared to be hungover," one person wrote. "But I swear to you guys, this is like drinking the good stuff."
4. Tide Pod Dupe
While some people have developed brand loyalty when it comes to laundry detergent, you'd be surprised how products that follow the same ingredients are so much cheaper than name brand products, like Tide. One jar of Tide Pods that comes with 45 individual pods costs $24.99, bringing the price per load of laundry $0.34. However at Costco, the Kirkland brand follows the same recipe, but is selling a 125-count jar of pods for $22.99. The price per load of laundry is less than half of Tide—it's a no-brainer.
5. Anthropologie Mirror Dupe
TikTok has been going crazy over the viral Anthropologie Mirror for months, yet it's so expensive, it's hard to even justify spending over $1,000 on a mirror. Yet some customers at Costco have found the ultimate dupe: the same size, the same rich gold detailing on the frame, for just a sliver of the price. While the Anthropologie Mila mirror comes with a $1,300 price tag, the Ravena Floor Mirror is only $150. Yes, v
