Go button-crazy

If you run at the same speed and incline all the time, no wonder you're bored! Try changing things up by incorporating intervals into your treadmill workout.

Increase the incline

It seems weird to not run on a treadmill, but you can walk instead and get a solid workout if you just set a steep incline. Don't forget to try intervals with this too!

Focus on breathing

Instead of focusing on the fact that you're on the treadmill, pay attention to your breathing. Try coordinating it with your running by breathing in for a few strides and then breathing out for the same number of strides.

Listen to a podcast

Another great form of distraction: listening to a podcast. Whoever you are listening to will keep you entertained, and maybe even make you forget that you are moving faster than a snail's pace.

Watch your favorite show

Get on the treadmill when your favorite show is on, and watch time fly by! You might end up running longer than an episode of Real Housewives without even realizing.
