But there are a lot of mistakes you could be making with your morning cup of joe that could potentially be contributing to unhealthy dieting habits and weight gain. Similarly, there are also things you can do to increase your coffee’s health benefits.

To make the most out of your favorite morning beverage, there’s one ingredient you should start adding to it.

Coconut oil. Coconut oil has become an all-purpose, cure-all staple in our lives. People use it in their beauty routines just as much as they use it in the kitchen. So, what does adding coconut oil in your coffee do?

Studies suggest that putting a tablespoon of coconut oil in your coffee can help with weight loss. When the effects of coconut oil were observed in a scientific study, it was found that dietary supplement “seems to promote a reduction in abdominal obesity.”

Losing that stubborn belly fat may be a little easier than you thought!

Adding a spoonful of coconut oil to your coffee can also cut back on your need to add addition artificial sweeteners and creamer to your coffee, thereby making them less fattening.
