Most people bring in the glam squads and do their hair and makeup to celebrate their birthdays. But then again, Adele isn’t most people! The 34-year-old “Easy on Me” singer did the total opposite, and actually took off her makeup for her birthday – and even shared the stunning pictures to her social media to prove it!
The two-image carousel wasn’t just about her birthday or her makeup-free appearance (but seriously, how gorgeous does the close-up second picture of her face look?! We are in awe!) as the singer also reflected on the past 12 months and the “lessons” and “blessings” they have brought with them. (We assume that some of the lessons she was referring to had something to do with her canceled Las Vegas residency, and maybe even the constant media attention her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul has had.)

Many, many fans flocked to the comments section to wish the notoriously very private “Someone Like You” singer a happy birthday, while others couldn’t help but gush over how gorgeous she looked in the pictures. “Whoa absolutely beautiful,” one fan wrote, followed by six red heart emojis and one heart eyes emoji. “Gorgeous!” exclaimed another, followed by the super-popular red heart emoji. “Let’s just praise how beautiful Adele is!” another fan added, while another wrote, “Slay Adele.” “Thank you for being in our lives!
