Queen Camilla is reportedly adamant that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children visiting the United Kingdom this summer for a family reconciliation would be a “mistake.”

An insider has claimed that the queen is stirring over the upcoming visit and, like other members of the royal family, does not think it’s a good idea to allow the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back into the monarchy’s graces. The report didn’t come long after sources claimed Prince Harry was attempting to convince his father to let him do some work that would make him a ‘part-time royal,’ and that the king was considering it. Read more about the situation below.

Queen Camilla Reportedly Thinks Letting Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Back Into The Royal Family Would Be A 'Grave Mistake'

One of the most buzzing topics surrounding the royal family right now is the upcoming visit the Spare author and his family are allegedly planning to the UK for the summer.

Next month, the controversial couple is reportedly going to England, and there have been previous reports that Harry hopes to bring his wife and kids to see his family members at their Sandringham estate for a long-awaited visit. The news didn't come long after the distant prince expressed in interviews that he wanted to "reconcile" with the royals, particularly his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William.

An insider recently came forward and told CloserOnline that Queen Camilla is not fond of this idea at all, and actually thinks it could be a "grave mistake." Not only that, but she's reportedly in a state where she can't "fathom" forgiving the couple, especially after their famous 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Queen Camilla Is Allegedly Trying To Sway King Charles From Being 'Lenient' With Harry & Meghan

It's no secret that the tension between the working members of the royal family and the Sussexes has been very intense over the last five years, ever since they stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved from the UK to California.

Since then, the prince has been making public statements about wanting to repair his familial relationships, and sources have claimed that he would love for his father to compromise, allowing him to work as a sort of "part-time royal." Over the last few months, some insiders have said the king occasionally considers this idea, but that the queen is still against it.

According to the above source, Camilla is advising her husband against "leniency towards the Sussexes" and doesn't want him to be "naive" when considering their relationship to the rest of the monarchy.

We'll be curious to see how this pans out and if we ever even hear anything about a royal family reunion towards the end of the summer. Either way, these reports give off the idea that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might not be welcomed back with open arms.
