Ana de Armas Discusses Filming Ballerina and Her Role
Within the larger John Wick storyline, Ballerina is set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum. Keanu Reeves will also play alongside de Armas.
In a recent interview, Ana admitted, “When I got the opportunity for the offer, it was really inspiring. I’m actually surprised that I came out of it in one piece.”
She added, “The way that the fights are built, you have to be prepared for whatever they throw at you. It was a kind of discipline—physical and mental—that I didn’t know before.”
The film is set to premiere on June 6 and marks the fifth installment in the John Wick universe.
