Angelina Jolie is known for her classic beauty and impressive talent, and after being in Hollywood for more than 30 years, she’s made a few minor changes to preserve her features even as she ages. Rocking a completely different set of tattoos and a noticeably sharper jawline, Jolie looks like a fine tuned version of herself from the past in a new Instagram before and after.

The Instagram account @celebrityplastics shared a side by side image of Jolie last week, with one image from 2001 and the other from a more recent red carpet event. In the second image, Jolie can be seen with a more defined jawline, pointed nose and thicker brows, looking just as effortlessly beautiful as she did in the early 2000’s.

The 45-year-old actress notably made a significant change to her body ink, removing the classic “Billy Bob” tattoo she had on her upper left arm in exchange for the geographical location of ex-husband Brad Pitt’s birthplace in Shawnee, Oklahoma. We wonder if she’ll cover up that tattoo as their messy (and expensive) divorce continues to rage on.
While many in the comments speculated that Jolie had gotten work done, others reasoned that she simply lost weight, explaining her sharper features. “She does not even weigh 50 kg, she did nothing, she has a fat-free face,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “I think it’s such a weight loss that changed her look. When I gain weight my nose and cheeks fill out.”
Whether or not Jolie has had any work done, the 45-year-old mother of six looks just as stunning as she did back in the early 2000’s so clearly she’s doing something right. Hopefully she’ll drop the skincare routine soon so we can take notes!
