In fact, there's one particular herb that works wonders. Read on to find out the one anti-inflammatory ingredient you should add to your meals for weight loss, according to a nutritionist.

Dr. Kellyann Petrucci, a nutrition consultant, says that rosemary is one of the best anti-inflammatory herbs around. According to Dr. Kellyann, rosemary is also good for brain health besides being an anti-inflammatory herb. She further recommends pairing rosemary with roast chicken, salmon, and beef roasts for healthy meal ideas.

The health website Livestrong takes a deeper look into the nutrients found in the herb rosemary. According to Livestrong, one teaspoon of dried rosemary contains 0.35 milligrams of iron, which is essential for your energy. The website further notes that rosemary also contains both vitamins A and C.

Furthermore, Dr. Kellyann says that rosemary is not the only powerful anti-inflammatory herb or spice that you can use to add flavor to your meals. She also recommends using turmeric, cloves, cinnamon, cayenne, basil, and ginger for their anti-inflammatory properties.
