Certain cocktails, packed with skin-loving nutrients, antioxidants, and hydrating ingredients, can work wonders for your complexion. Dubbed “nature’s Botox,” these drinks help to nourish your skin from within, promoting elasticity, reducing wrinkles, and giving you that radiant glow.

Ilana Muhlstein, a nutritionist who lost 100 pounds and shares healthy recipes with her 2M followers on TikTok, revealed her take on a “nature’s Botox” mocktail that’s packed with antioxidants. Read on to get all the details!

Nature’s Botox Mocktail

She first starts by steeping hibiscus tea. “They contain antioxidants that maintain the elastin in our skin,” she notes.

Then, Ilana adds collagen powder to the hibiscus tea, adding that “while there’s no scientific evidence, I definitely see an improvement in my skin and hair.”

Afterwards, she takes a glass cup filled with ice and pours some pomegranate molasses for additional sweetness and a boost of vitamin C. Then all there’s left to do is pour the hibiscus tea into the cup, add some citrus, and enjoy!

Benefits for Skin

This drink is packed with skin-friendly ingredients that promote a youthful and glowing complexion.

Hibiscus is rich in antioxidants, which help maintain elastin, a protein critical for skin elasticity. This could reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. While evidence varies, collagen supplementation is believed by many to enhance skin hydration and elasticity.

As for pomegranate molasses, this ingredient is loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants as well. This can protect the skin from free radical damage, boost collagen production, and support skin repair. We're trying this immediately!
