All eyes were on rising star Anya Taylor-Joy as she graced the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of The Northman last week in a captivating floor-length white gown. The Emma star, 26, donned a timelessly beautiful, sleeveless, halter Dior dress with an intricate gold-and-pearl encrusted neckline (and took our breath away in the process).
To amp up her regal look even more, The Queen’s Gambit actress added shiny gold stud earrings from Tiffany & Co. and wore her long, platinum blonde locks into a chic braid. As for makeup, Taylor-Joy rocked subtle, shaded black eyeliner, voluminous lashes, radiant highlighter along her sharp cheekbones and lip gloss to complete the look.
Taylor-Joy shared her ensemble with her 8.9 million Instagram followers in a post where fans were able to get a better look at her gold manicure, delicate gold rings, and the open back and A-line cut of her dress. “THE NORTHMAN IS OUT THIS FRIDAY!!” she wrote in her caption, “So unbelievably special to celebrate at the Chinese Theatre with our gorgeous cast+crew. It really is a beast of a movie… try and see it on the biggest screen you can find (if you’re up for it).” The stunner then thanked her glam team and the two iconic luxury brands that powered her show-stopping outfit. “Love+thanks as always to my beautiful team and @dior + @tiffanyandco for making this maiden feel special. Love to you all.”
As Taylor-Joy made her way down the red carpet at the legendary TCL Chinese Theater, she stopped to pose for photos with her castmates Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgård, Willem Dafoe, and The Northman director Robert Eggers. The film is classified as a historical fiction odyssey based on Scandinavian lore and also stars Björk and Ethan Hawke.
