Critics have been attacking Ariana Grande for months now—ever since she and her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater broke the internet with the news of not only the end of their respective marriages but the beginning of their own relationship—and in her new single, “yes, and?” the pop star is finally responding. Ariana Grande's Critics Call Her 'Malnourished'
The home-wrecker allegations are new, or at least as new as her and Ethan's relationship is, but online criticism is anything but new for the Victorious actress. Over the years, fans have attacked Ariana online, calling her "malnourished."
Another fan said, "I need whatever she is taking for her weight loss. I know this girl has never worked out in her life so she must be on something."
"Every time I see pictures of this woman, she looks different," wrote another person.
"I think now she’s more depressed than ever," another person commented. "Maybe things are catching up to her finally and her body
is becoming tired. She’s not well… her hair is thinning."
"She doesn't look right," another person said in a comment.
"She looks sick. Like an alien," added another.
Ariana Grande Addresses Online Comments In New Single
However, it seems Ariana is tired of hearing these comments, and in her new single, "yes, and?" she called fans out in the bridge:
"My face is sitting, I don't need no disguise (I don't need no disguise) / Don't comment on my body, do not reply."
Another verse hears the "NASA" singer say, "Now I'm so done with caring / What you think no, I won't hide / underneath your own projections / Or change my most authentic life."

Not Her First Rodeo
This is not the first time Ariana's addressed these types of comments. On Apr. 11th, 2023, the "thank u, next" singer posted a video to her social platforms candidly talking to fans about their "concerns" over her body.
"I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on peoples' bodies," she said in the video. "No matter what. If you think you're saying something good or well-intentioned, whatever it is, healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, not-sexy, we just shouldn't. We should really work towards not doing that as much."
