Grande and Slater’s relationship, which was confirmed in July 2023, has been met with controversy from the very beginning, with the Victorious alum being called a “homewrecker” for allegedly breaking up Slater and high school sweetheart Lilly Jay. However, despite the allegations from fans and non-fans alike, Ariana has always maintained that their relationship began after their respective relationships with their exes were over.

Ethan Slater Appears On Ariana Grande's Instagram For The First Time
Although we were never expecting the controversial couple to make a huge Instagram announcement regarding their relationship – mostly due to the aforementioned controversy – Ariana simply including her 31-year-old Wicked co-star in her muti-image Instagram carousel is pretty significant.
On April 11th, the "Thank U, Next" singer shared a ten-image carousel from CinemaCon in Las Vegas with her 380M Instagram followers. The carousel featured images of her with some of her Wicked co-stars, which included Cynthia Erivo, who plays the role of Elphaba in the upcoming movie, and Slater, who plays the role of munchkin Boq. (FYI, Slater appears in the ninth picture (above,) which also features Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey.)

According to reports, Ariana and Ethan didn't try to hide their relationship during their time in Las Vegas, as they were spotted looking cozy at Nobu Caesars Palace on Wednesday, April 10th.
Video footage obtained by TMZ (above) showed Ariana wearing the same pink dress from CinemaCon and leaning in to kiss Ethan on the cheek while they were at dinner. The pair also took turns putting their arms around each other during the course of the evening.
