Ariana Grande Addresses Ethan Slater Controversy

As we all know by now, both Ariana and Ethan were married to other people before they started dating, although they have both maintained that their respective relationships were over before anything started between them. However, this didn't stop the "The Boy is Mine" singer from being plagued with homewrecker allegations, as internet trolls claimed she destroyed Slater's marriage with childhood sweetheart Lilly Jay, with whom he also shared a young son.

Talking about the backlash, the two-time Grammy winner told the pub: "It'll never be unpainful. But also, I walk with the awareness that I'm an artist and this is a path that I've chosen, and so I just try to protect myself so that I never start to resent the art."
