Ariana Grande continues to wow us with her outfits on The Voice; and the one she wore on Monday, December 6th might just be one of our favorite ones to date! The 28-year-old Voice coach took the 90s theme of Monday’s show very seriously, as she channeled one of the biggest and most iconic popstars of the entire decade. We are of course talking about Britney Spears!
The “7 Rings” singer gave us a modern recreation of one of the 40-year-old “Baby One More Time” singer’s most famous outfits from her “Baby One More Time” tour back in 1999. Her updated throwback look consisted of a strapless baby pink bralette (we’ve lost count of how many bralettes Ari has worn this year!) that showcased her toned and utterly flawless abs perfectly, and white pants with pink patches on the knees, just like Brit’s! We’re getting so nostalgic right now!

Ariana accessorized her midriff-exposing look with white platform heels – is she throwing some Spice Girls style inspo in there too? – and brought back her slick, sky-scraping pony. If you remember, Britney wore pigtails with her pink and white look, which would have been interesting to see the "Side to Side" singer try and recreate, but on second thoughts, we like how she put her own spin on the look. And it doesn’t get more Ari than a high ponytail, right?
We are obsessed with Ari's homages to Britney, and hope that one day, the two popstars can come together for an epic musical collaboration. (We can dream, right?) Let's not forget that the "Positions" singer performed "Oops!…I Did It Again" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, and also did an uncanny impression of her (as well as other singers including Shakira and Celine Dion!) on Saturday Night Live back in 2016. Whether she's imitating her singing voice or getting sartorial inspiration from her, it’s clear to see that Ariana does an incredible job of channeling Ms Spears!
