Taking a break from social media to hide the fact that you're pregnant sounds familiar, right? That's because Kylie Jenner recently did the same thing! Fans think that Ariana is pulling a Kylie by hiding her growing bump. That could definitely explain the lack of selfies on her Instagram--her last Instagram post dates back to Dec. 31, 2017! Fans pointed out that the singer was absent from her latest snapshot that she shared on March 2, which featured her team listening to her upcoming fourth studio album.
The singer did make an appearance at the March For Our Lives protest in Washington, D.C. on March 24, where she took the stage wearing an oversized sweatshirt and knee-high boots. Though this is Ariana's go-to look, it is a little suspicious that she chose this outfit with all of these rumors flying around. After all, Kylie donned oversized sweats when she was spotted out during her pregnancy...
As much as we would love for Ariana to be pregnant, it looks like a source close to the singer is shutting down those rumors. “Ariana’s break from social media has not been because she is hiding a pregnancy with her boyfriend the way Kylie did," a source tells Hollywood Life. "She just wants a healthy break from social media. When her new album and tour is ready to be announced, she will return with regular updates on her Twitter and Instagram.”
The insider also addressed the rumors that Ari and Mac had broken up, saying, “Ariana loves Mac and things are great between them...They are still young and are focusing on work right now.”
We might not be getting a Grande-Miller baby anytime soon, but at least we're getting new music from Ariana! We'll keep you updated if anything changes.
