Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will always be an iconic duo in our eyes, but we have to admit that we love seeing Ashley’s boyfriend on her arm instead of her twin sister for a change.
The 35-year-old fashion designer and her 33-year-old artist boyfriend, Louis Eisner, just made their red carpet debut – something that defines a relationship in Hollywood – on Thursday September 23, when they attended a 20th anniversary celebration for Young Eisner Scholars. The non-profit organization was founded by Eisner’s father, Eric Eisner, and its aim is to help students from economically disadvantaged communities.
This is the very first time we have seen The Row co-founder and her boyfriend officially pose together, which is actually quite shocking as the couple have been together for four – yes four – years! But it was definitely worth the wait! The Olsen twins are notoriously private about their dating lives – and their personal lives in general – so we’re not too surprised that it has taken Ashley four years to show off her beau to the world.
Stepping out with her boyfriend for the first time was undoubtedly a big step for the former It Takes Two actress, which is why everything else was very much business as usual and she remained in her comfort zone. Olsen wore an all-black slightly oversized ensemble, which is true to her and sister Mary-Kate's signature sartorial styles, and wore her hair tied back in a sleek but effortless pony. Eisner complemented his girlfriend's look beautifully, as he looked extremely sharp in a black suit with a crisp white shirt underneath.
We hope this will be the first of many red carpet appearances together, as they look picture perfect!
