Leo Marenghi, a Los Angeles teen, said that the actor hit him with his car while he was riding his scooter. This is already shaping up to be a crazy story!
Marenghi told TIME that he was on his way to a babysitting job when Kutcher hit him with his black Tesla.
"I got up, and he was getting out of the car at the same time," he said. "[Kutcher] was like, 'Oh my God, I'm so sorry, are you OK?'"
“[I] looked up and realized it was him,” he continued.
“Yeah, I'm fine, are you Ashton Kutcher though?" he asked.
Thankfully, the boy was okay and only experienced some soreness after being hit. Marenghi then asked Kutcher to take a picture with him, which is a request we’re sure the actor couldn’t refuse given the situation.
Marenghi posted the pic on Instagram and it went viral. “Got hit by a car today... But it’s ok because it was by Ashton Kutcher,” he captioned the post.
He also included a snapshot of the injury he suffered from the accident.
“I called my mom and my sister, but they didn’t believe me. Good thing I have that picture," Marenghi said. “I’m so glad I was OK, because it changes the whole experience from something that could have been bad to a really cool experience."
