Barack Obama Shoots Hoops With Anthony Edwards In Viral Video
The Obamas, particularly the 44th president, have been back in action, as they're preparing for the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center that is set to happen on the South Side of Chicago this year's Juneteenth holiday.
To promote the large library and community center, on March 17th, the famous politician pretended to sit down for an interview to talk about it, but ended up texting the basketball player, challenging him to the same games. The former president and Edwards talked 'smack' to each other as they shot some hoops together, and played other games like ping pong and Connect Four. You can watch the athletic-themed video here!
Putting his acting skills to work, Barack would ask the professional player things like, "Oh, you want some of this?"

Fans React To Barack's Viral Video On Social Media & Compare Him To Donald Trump
After the video was shared on platforms like X, and the two men continued to interact with each other online, fans of the famous Obama family began to freak out, quickly making it go viral.
As more and more people saw it, many began to reminisce on the Obama presidency, and after seeing his athleticism, began to compare him to current President Donald Trump, who has had people suspicious about his health for quite some time now.
"The fact that Obama still steps on a court with the best athletes in the world tells you everything about his mentality," wrote an X user. "Most former presidents fade into irrelevance. This man stays culturally relevant without even trying. That's a different kind of power."
"We gotta get back to having fun as a country and showing love," added another.
One user wrote about how the country "used to have a cool President," as another commented, "How does a former president do more for a country out of office than the current president does in office?"
