For her glam, Princess Kate wore her signature brunette locks down, parted in the middle, and styled into voluminous waves. William, 42, moved followers with his sincere caption dedicated to Kate, prompting fans to flood the comments with compliments on her resilience following her cancer battle, her outfit, beauty and his touching message.

On January 9th, William wrote in the post for the Waleses’ 16.8 million followers: “To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W.”

William honored Kate after a challenging year marked by significant health issues, including a major operation, a cancer diagnosis, and intense chemotherapy. In January 2024, the mom of three underwent major abdominal surgery in London, initially believed to be non-cancerous. However, post-surgery tests confirmed cancer. In a video statement in March, she revealed her diagnosis and her plan to begin chemotherapy.
By June, Kate shared that her treatment was ongoing and would continue for several more months, making her first public appearance since the diagnosis at Trooping the Colour. In September, Kate joyfully announced the completion of her chemotherapy and declared herself "cancer free," expressing her eagerness to return to work and public duties in the near future.
Most recently, Kate wowed onlookers in Sandringham, Norfolk, England (above), by wearing a forest green double-breasted coat designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen on Christmas morning. She accessorized with a velour-felt Gina Foster 'Meribel' hat with a bow, as well as black Gianvito Rossi boots and a black Grace Han Love Letter top-handle handbag.
