Ben Affleck Sits Down For An Interview On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
The award-winning actor and writer is back in the spotlight these days with some new buzzworthy projects, including his latest crime-thriller starring him and his longtime friend and co-writer, Matt Damon. The pair play two Miami police officers who are part of a group that discovers a stash of millions of dollars in cash.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live this Tuesday, the Massachusetts native spoke about the film, and even made some jokes about Damon, reading a comical note regarding the talk show host's recent Critics' Choice Award win, laughing as he read it and cracking a few more jokes as the interview was carried out.
The actor also addressed how fans of his have been talking about his Oscar nomination "snub" amid awards season buzz, and how many felt the film did not receive enough recognition in 2012. Instead of getting too serious, however, he addressed the backlash with jokes and more positivity.
"It's a bummer, but I did end up winning the Critic's Choice Award," he said with a smile. "This negative event turns into a positive."

Fans React To Ben's Talk Show Appearance & Say He Looks 'Happy'
After his talk show episode aired, numerous internet users began weighing in on his appearance and overall presence, noting how animated and upbeat he was. It was a change in tune from over the last few months, following his divorce from on-and-off-again partner Jennifer Lopez, which was finalized last year.
