Beyoncé just returned to the stage for the first time in five years, and shared her special performance with her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter! The Grammy winner, 41, celebrated the Atlantis The Royal hotel’s opening in Dubai and headlined her first concert since playing the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa in December 2018.
While treating the Beyhive to the rare show, the “Break My Soul” hitmaker donned numerous stunning outfits and also shimmered in a sultry, curve-hugging, gold Dolce & Gabbana look on the event’s red carpet.

Beyoncé’s sang her 2019 hit “Brown Skin Girl,” to Carter, who donned a shimmering red ensemble while standing beside her mother, who wore a glamorous yellow get-up. While Carter danced along to the song and held a microphone, she didn’t sing.
The Renaissance artist also told the crowd that her husband Jay-Z and their 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir were in the audience, along her parents, Tina and Mathew Knowles.
Fan Reactions To Blue Ivy Carter’s Entrance
Beyoncé opened the show with a cover of Etta James’ classic “At Last,” and fans continue to share footage of the extravagant, jaw-dropping concert. One moment in particular that captured everyone’s hearts was when Mrs. Carter and Ms. Carter embraced each other on stage.
“I believe in Queen Blue Ivy supremacy,” one fan wrote while praising the young starlet’s stunning concert style as another added, “she looks so much like her beautiful mother!” Someone else chimed in, tweeting, “she looks so grown up wow!” as one other fan predicted, “the way blue ivy is literally gonna be the next beyoncé.”

Beyoncé Teases New Music
Last summer, Beyoncé broke the internet after releasing her long-awaited, seventh studio album, Renaissance. The hit disco pop effort spawned viral hits like “Alien Superstar” and “Energy,” and Beyoncé has said that the record is the first part of a “three-act project” that she created during the COVID-19 pandemic.
While fans aren’t sure yet what the second and third acts will be, the artist wrote on Instagram just before the LP drop, “Creating [‘Renaissance’] allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.” She added, “It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.”

One exciting potential musical collaboration fans can look forward to is the joining forces of Beyoncé and Britney Spears, Page Six reports. The outlet notes that multiple insider sources told the publication exclusively that “Beyoncé asked Spears to appear in a new music video, but it ultimately fell through.” (Does that mean they recorded a song together? We’ll have to see!)
