Kanye West, known more recently as “Ye,” just dropped a new music video for his song, “OK,” and his wife, the controversial Bianca Censori, took on the role of director. Posted on her Instagram, the video has been deemed “dark” and “twisted” by social media users, but there are plenty of supporters out there too, calling the video a “masterpiece.” Keep reading for more information.

Bianca Censori Directs Kanye’s Latest Music Video

The music video is set inside of a morgue, with Kanye—headless—on a morgue table. The rapper’s head sits on a tray beside him as doctors operate on his body, pulling objects from inside of his torso. Eventually, the team attempts to reattach Kanye’s head. Many fans view this as Bianca’s take on taking apart her husband and putting him back together, perhaps symbolic of their relationship dynamic.

While this wasn’t Bianca’s first time behind the camera, it was perhaps her strangest directorial take. The 31-year-old has previously directed the music videos for “Father” and “King.”

Social Media Reactions

The comment section was pretty divided between fans and critics for Censori’s latest project. While some fans left notes like, “another masterpiece” and “snapped yet again” on Censori’s post, others were rather horrified.

“This is genuinely disturbing,” one person wrote.

“Bianca really said let me traumatize the internet today,” said the next.

“I wish I could unsee this,” another user wrote.

But her supporters came out and defended her in the comment section, too, writing, “Thanks Bianca for making the best music videos of the last decade!”
