Ever since she faced tremendous backlash for her It Ends With Us lawsuit drama, where she sued and was eventually countersued by her co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, the Gossip Girl star took a break from major public appearances and interviews, but now she's back.
Although she hasn't opened up about the lawsuit in quite a while, Blake is still trying to promote her beauty and haircare business, Blake Brown, which launched in 2024. The brand, which sells hair mists, body mists, dry shampoos, masks, etc. To discuss her business and open up about how she runs her brand, she spoke to an interviewer from WWD in a sit-down, recorded interview last week.
At one point, she opened up about how much of an influence her husband, the Deadpool star, who has also been facing backlash for their legal drama, has on her decision-making.
"We talk shop all the time," she revealed. "We really are partners in everything just because we're best friends. We talk shop about, like, if I make the coffee, I'm like, 'What did you like about that? What were the details?' We're very curious people."
"We're just buddies. We're partners," she continued. "He's been my male tester for all of my fragrances, my formulas, my everything. He's always stealing them from me. So, down to literally being my test strands of hair, to being somebody whom I rely on for every facet of the business and my life. Nothing I do is without him."

Although the mom-of-four has been talking about her haircare brand with a positive attitude, it seems that no matter how hard she tries, she can't separate it from her ongoing legal drama, and the 'cancellation' she faced in the pop culture world because of it.
Things got to the point where an item in Fortune noted that Blake Brown's sales were going "poorly," and it likely had to do with the massive hit to her reputation. After this new interview came out, it looks like things aren't going to get that much better.
Social media users already began slamming Blake, and they also didn't like everything she said about her husband, who has not only gotten involved in her legal scandal, but also taken a hit to his reputation.
"Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are toxic, nasty people and not beautiful within," commented a YouTube user.
