Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been a power couple since they wed in 2012, but does the downfall of Blake Lively’s reputation also mean the downfall of their marriage? It may be so. According to an insider close to the couple, their relationship is on the rocks, marred by constant fighting and humiliation. Keep reading for more information.
Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively's Rocky Relationship
Ever since Blake Lively's fall from grace as a result of the It Ends With Us drama, there's been tension between her and her husband. Fans even noticed that Reynolds, 48, hasn't posted a photo of Lively, 38, on his Instagram in over a year. An insider revealed that the rumors are true—the couple is "at each other's throats."
"It's constant," the source spilled. "They fight all the time. The f-bombs aren't playful anymore," rather, they've turned "nasty, and it's wearing them both down."
This reference comes from a recent appearance from the couple in New Jersey. Reynolds explained he was awaiting a call from director Bill Murray to hear if he had earned a part in the documentary John Candy: I Like Me ahead of a formal event. When he finally received the call as they were about to enter the event, Lively whispered to him that they have "to go in!" to which Reynolds replied with a "F*** you!"

Will Their Marriage Last?
While this maybe used to be playful, it's not anymore. "They used to tease each other for fun, but lately it feels cruel," a different source revealed. "Blake feels humiliated, and Ryan acts like she should just 'take it,' adding, "That kind of energy isn't sustainable."
The source added that their entire marriage has become "toxic" and their may be a clock ticking on their marriage. "The fighting is constant, the swearing is relentless—and neither one seems willing to back down." Will Blake and Ryan's relationship survive this rough patch? For the sake of their four children, we certainly hope so. But with more lawsuits on the way and court appearances on the calendar for Lively, fans are waiting to see if she'll be attending on her own or with the support of her husband.
