Costco and Whole Foods recall bone broths

Bone broths manufactured by Tree House Foods and sold at Costco and Whole Foods are being recalled due to possible microbial contamination. Affected products include Culinary Treasures Organic Chicken Broth that was sold at Costco between September 8, 2022 and September 22, 2023 and 365 brand Organic Chicken Broth sold at Whole Foods between July 24, 2022 and September 21, 2023.

Costco recently sent out a recall letter to members, which stated:

"[Culinary Treasure Organic Chicken Broth] may have the potential for non-pathogenic microbial contamination, which may result in product bloating, shortened shelf-life and potential for early spoilage. No illnesses have been reported to date."
