Brad Pitt didn’t just lose any possibility of a relationship with Angelina Jolie in his divorce, he also lost the possibility of a relationship with all of his kids—at least it’s looking that way. The former couple share six children together, Maddox, 24, Zahara, 20, Pax, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17, and none of them have a close relationship with their father. Apparently, Brad still has hopes for reconciliation. Keep reading for more information.
Brad Pitt Wants To Make Amends
With Angelina Jolie planning to leave Los Angeles as soon as the twins turn 18, Brad knows he's on a time crunch to make amends with his children, as they might choose to spend more time abroad with their mother. It will also be increasingly difficult for him to earn forgiveness from his children as all that are over the age of 18 have dropped "Pitt" from their last name and mostly have cut contact with him.
According to an insider speaking to Daily Mail, Brad is "desperate" to see his youngest kids, Knox and Vivienne, and make amends." The source added that he "knows the chance...is remote to sat the least." He was reportedly "devastated" when Vivienne dropped Pitt from her last name in a 2024 Playbill and "got the message loud and clear."
Despite this, Brad insists that all of his children are "very important to his life" and he wants them "all back in the fold." He better start apologizing now...

Angelina Jolie Starts Planning For Move To Europe
According to an exclusive source speaking to People, Jolie is getting ready to "put the house up for sale" in Los Angeles, so when the time comes she's able to move abroad, she has no string attached. She source explained that the mother-of-six "never wanted to live in LA full time. She didn't have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad."
The source continued, adding that Jolie "plans to relocate as soon as Knox and Viv turn 18 next year. She's eyeing several locations abroad. She'll be very happy when she's able to leave Los Angeles."
Angelina's first step toward a life abroad is selling her Los Angeles mansion. An insider noted that the Maleficent actress is going to make some minor improvements to the home before putting it on the market. She purchased the home in 2017 for $24.5M. It features six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, and is a whopping 11,000 square feet.
Once she's parted with the 1913 historic build (which an insider is calling "a hisotic masterpiece and truly such a beautiful estate"), it's likely she'll head to Cambodia, where she adopted her oldest son Maddox from in 2002. She's called the country the one place "in my heart" that she considers home.

Brad's Biggest Regret
The Brad Pitt vs. Angelina Jolie divorce proceedings lasted more than eight years, complete with multiple lawsuits regarding both personal and financial disagreements. While both sides likely have some regrets, only Brad Pitt has revealed what he wishes he could’ve done differently, and it doesn’t really have anything to do with Angelina herself. Rather, Brad’s biggest regret is his estrangement with most of his children.
A source close to the F1 actor spoke to US Weekly about Brad's feelings on the divorce: "The divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years. He loved her and he knows he made mistakes." Particularly, he regrets wrecking his relationship with his kids the most.
"[Brad's] biggest regret is he can't repair his relationship with his kids," the source explained. "The case is over but there are no winners." While Brad's legal team tried to paint Angelina as someone who has pitted their kids against him, many of the children have either spoken out publicly against their father or quietly left their relationship with him in the past.

Brad Pitt's Children Speak Out Against Him
Pax has been the most outspoken against his father, writing on Instagram on Father's Day in 2020, "Happy Father’s Day to this world class ahole!! You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence … You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell … you f—ing awful human being!!"
Then, in 2024, Vivienne, who previously used the last name Jolie-Pitt, had her name appear as "Vivienne Jolie" in the official Playbill for the Broadway production of The Outsiders, which she worked on alongside her mother, who produced the show. Also in 2024, Shiloh reportedly filed court documents to legally changed her name to Shiloh Jolie shortly after turning 18. Maddox also uses the last name "Jolie" and no longer considers Brad his father.
