Brangelina's divorce was finalized last year, which insiders previously said was partly due to Brad's current girlfriend Ines de Ramon urging him to put an end to it once and for all so they could get on with their lives.
When asked whether the divorce – which had taken eight years to finalize due to endless disagreements about everything from custody over their six children to their Château Miraval winery – had finally brought some "relief," the F1 actor had a very interesting response.
"No, I don't think it was that major of a thing," the Ad Astra actor replied, adding: "Just something coming to fruition. Legally." Woah!
Angelina Jolie Made Cryptic Comments When Their Divorce Was Finalized
The Wolfs actor's comments come six months after the Oscar-winning actress made some cryptic comments about "liars" in an interview with W, around the time the divorce was finalized. Was it about her ex? Nobody knows for sure, but we sure can speculate…
"My pet peeve is somebody who is a liar. Somebody who feels a need to not say the truth or what they want, what they feel," the mom-of-six said.
The Eternals actress continued: "There's a big version of that – and I'm not trying to be heavy about it – but people who say one thing and mean another, who aren't completely who they are. I think a lot of people don't say what they mean." Do we think that Pitt didn't say what he meant when speaking to GQ?

Fans had a lot to say about Brad's comments in GQ on social media, with many Angelina fans being very angry with his casual response that seemed to downplay the abuse allegations that she had accused him of.
