A source opened up to E! News about the situation, explaining that Brian is less eager to speed their divorce proceedings along and seems to be holding up the process purposefully.
The insider explained, "Brian is definitely not making it easy or doing things quickly."

"Megan would like to wrap it up and get it finished as quickly as possible, but Brian is not exactly working with her on that," the source continued.
It's hard to believe that Megan's eagerness--or Brian's reluctance--could be anything but a result of the actress's relationship with MGK.
Apparently, Fox is "very serious with MGK and sees him as her soulmate and life partner."
And she's made no secret of feeling a special connection with her new boyfriend.
With such a serious new relationship blooming, it only makes sense that Fox wants to make her divorce official.
"[Fox and MGK] plan to be together forever. She wants the divorce to be done with so she can move on and move ahead," the insider explained.
