Brie Larson made sure the Cannes Film Festival ended just as spectacularly as it started, as she really dressed to impress when she attended the Elemental premiere on Saturday, May 27th, which also served as the official closing ceremony of the 12-day event.
The closing ceremony also saw Anatomy of a Fall receive the Palme d’Or, which is considered to be the event’s highest prize. But the Captain Marvel star wins our prize for knocking it out of the park on the red carpet every single day of this year’s festival, which has seen some truly phenomenal looks.

Brie Larson Wears Chanel Couture Dress To The Closing Ceremony
Styled by Samantha McMillen, the 33-year-old Oscar-winning-actress wore a sheer and white floral-embellished maxi dress from the Chanel Spring 2023 Haute Couture collection, which she accessorized with Aquazzura heels. She has been wearing Chanel exclusively for the entire festival, and there has been no shortage of wow-worthy looks!
For jewelry, she went for a dazzling Chanel High Jewelry geometric diamond necklace and matching earrings. Her hair was styled by Bryce Scarlet in loose, glamorous waves, while her makeup, which was done by Nina Park, consisted of a flawless glowing base, sparkly eyeshadow and a pink lip.
Brie, who served as a jury member at this year's Cannes Film Festival, shared two images of her look on her Instagram account on May 28th. She captioned her post: "This is me before bawling my eyes out during the closing ceremony @festivaldecannes."
"These last two weeks have been an honor of a lifetime," she continued. "To be a juror means being in constant contact with the other brilliant minds who make up the jury as a whole – while discussing the extraordinary talent behind each film we deliberated. I will sincerely miss seeing, hearing, learning, sharing, and debating with them every day. It’s changed me forever. And I do not say that lightly."
"Thank you to every person behind each frame of the films I saw," she added. "Your passion and craftsmanship didn’t go unnoticed. This festival, the jurors, and the films in them have changed the course of my life - and the impact of that is beyond comprehension right now." She also went on to thank Chanel for providing her with some of the most spectacular looks, as well as her fellow jurors, among others.
