Brooke posted the picture on Thursday in honor of #TBT (Throwback Thursday)—and in honor of the Fourth of July. ”
“Little #TBT action because there’s nothin like a summer holiday weekend,” said Shields in her photo caption. “Be safe out there everyone!!!” The Blue Lagoon star added on and American Flag emoji and full sun emoji to the optimistic inscription.
The stunning photo features Brooke in the 1980s, posing in front of the breaking waves of the ocean wearing a low-and-high-cut Baywatch-esque red one-piece swimsuit and rocking long, flowing, beachy-blonde hair. The actress and model’s toned arms and tanned frame are truly an example of timeless fit beauty, and fans were loving the ’80s flashback, which she has referenced before with her “Thanksgiving tradition” red-swimsuit-sporting pool dunks.
