Emma Heming Willis, who has been married to Bruce Willis since 2009 and shares daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, with him, has once again updated fans about his health following his dementia diagnosis.

During an emotional interview with Diane Sawyer for Good Morning America, Emma revealed that the Die Hard actor, 70, is still physically healthy, but is now becoming increasingly unable to communicate.

“Bruce is still very mobile. Bruce is in really great health overall, you know,” Heming Willis, 47, told Sawyer in an ABC special which aired earlier this week.

“It’s just his brain that is failing him. The language is going,” she shared, before noting some of the changes she and the rest of the family – which also includes his ex-wife Demi Moore, 62, and their three daughters, Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, – are making.

“We’ve learned to adapt and we have a way of communicating with him, which is just a different way,” she confessed.

Emma Heming Willis Reveals What She Would Most Like To Ask Bruce Willis

Emma got more emotional as she confessed to Diane what she would most like to ask the Pulp Fiction actor now he is struggling to communicate. "Just how he's doing. Is he okay? If he feels okay... if there's anything that we could do to support him better. I would really love to know that," she said.

She went on to say that she would like to know "if he's scared" or "if he's ever worried." She added: "I just would love to be able to have a conversation with him."

Bruce Willis' Quietness Was One Of The First Hints That Something Was Wrong

Reflecting on the early signs of the disease, Emma explained that changes in his communication were among the first indications that something was wrong.

"For someone who was very talkative and very engaged, he was just a little more quiet, and when the family would get together, he would kind of just melt a little bit," she recalled. She added that she noticed the Sixth Sense star "felt a little removed, very cold, not like Bruce, who is very warm and affectionate, to going the complete opposite of that was alarming and scary."
