As expected, customers took to social media to share their thoughts on this new menu item. On Twitter, one user posted “I tried the new Southwest Bacon Whopper from Burger King. I liked the crunch and the spicy sauce” while another one wrote, “Just had the Southwest Whopper, with bacon and avocado from Burger King. Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Definitely eating it again. Hopefully it stays on the menu for a long time.”

In a food review by Bachelor on the Cheap, Mike Thayer shares that this is a “limited time Whopper promo worth trying.” He adds, “[It’s] a nice change-of-pace from the regular Whopper. The combination of flavors and textures makes for an enjoyable fast food burger-for-lunch experience.”
