Calling all fast food breakfast enthusiasts! You’re going to want to hear about this: Burger King just launched not one, not two, but three new breakfast sandwiches—and they look like they could be giving McDonald’s and Wendy’s a run for their money.

Introducing the Cheesy Breakfast Melts. When you pull up to the Burger King drive through window for a quick breakfast, you can now take your pick of these mouthwatering sandwiches. Whether you like sausage, bacon, or black forest ham, there’s something for everyone. Of course, they wouldn’t be breakfast sandwiches if they weren’t complete with eggs and American cheese. These tasty ingredients are all sandwiched between some seriously delicious-looking toast.

While loyalists may stick beside their Egg McMuffins from McDonald’s or Sausage, Egg, and Swiss Croissants from Wendy’s, we’ll definitely be giving BK’s twist on breakfast melts a try. Other people seem to think it’s the way to go.

“I’ve been sleeping on Burger King breakfast,” one customer tweeted. “They might be better than McDonald’s.” Those are fighting words!

One user even claimed that Burger King does breakfast better than they do burgers. “Burger King breakfast is tiers above their regular food,” the wrote. Okay, now we’re convinced.

Despite these proclamations of loyalty to the fast food chain, Burger King’s sales have been trailing behind McDonald’s and Wendy’s in recent years. We’re interested to see if this recent innovation will give them an edge—and we can’t wait to taste the results for ourselves.
