The current season of the infamous competition series is fully underway, and has reached a whole new era as the remaining contestants have finished their auditions and 'made it to Hollywood.'
For the start of the Hollywood week episodes, the show actually filmed in Nashville for the first time, doing a "Music City takeover." Given she's one of the biggest names in country music right now, Carrie wore a standout outfit to celebrate the exciting episode. She wore a sparkling, bedazzled pantsuit that was black and covered in shiny embellishments.
The pantsuit consisted of a tailored blazer and matching pants, and she kept it simple, not wearing any noticeable layers underneath to allow the suit to do all the talking. Carrie Defends Herself Against Audience Members Who 'Booed' Her
The episode was quite an eventful one, as not only were tensions high to see which singers would be making it onto the next rounds of the show, but there were also many audience members who disagreed with the mom-of-two's critiques as an official judge.
For instance, at one point, a singer named Mor decided to perform an original song without the use of a professional band on stage, which Carrie thought was a "missed opportunity." Before she said her comments, she had a feeling what was coming, and defended herself against the rowdy crowd.
"I feel you guys are gonna boo me," she said to the audience, as reported by People. "It's coming — just bring it on. I love it. Your boos are feeding me."
We'll be curious to see how the country superstar fares with the crowds for the rest of the season, but for now, it looks like neither she nor the loyal viewers is afraid to share their opinions.
