Just one month after an unexpected (and incredible!) duet with Cody Johnson at the 58th annual Country Music Association Awards, the singer also surprised fans when she joined Darius Rucker to perform “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” for Nate Bargatze‘s star-studded holiday special!
Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas was filmed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee back in November, with Carrie sharing a clip from the show with her 13.2M Instagram followers on Thursday, December 19th before it aired on CBS.

The new American Idol judge said the song wasn’t on her Christmas album, but told the Opry crowd that she would “give it a shot.”
The eight-time Grammy winner predictably made a statement with her on-stage ensemble, choosing a festive strapless red mini dress with a voluminous skirt that drew attention to her headline-grabbing legs.

The dress also came with dazzling crystal and pearl embellishments, making it the perfect piece to wear for a Christmas performance!
The "Before He Cheats" hitmaker accessorized with black strappy heels and kept all other jewelry to a minimum, save for a pair of sparkly drop earrings.
The mom-of-two's blonde locks were worn in their signature center-parted waves, while her makeup was iconic as always, consisting of bold eyes with glamorous fluttery lashes, pink cheeks, and a nude lip.
