Singer-songwriters and American Idol winners Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson are reportedly ‘very competitive’ with each other, and possibly feuding.
According to an anonymous source who recently spoke to Star Magazine, the “Before He Cheats” singer was not happy that the “Since U Been Gone” crooner dropped her cover EP, Kellyoke, the same week that her country record, Denim & Rhinestones was set to be released.

“Kelly had to know it was coming out,” the source reportedly dished to the publication about Underwood’s disappointment at the release. “Carrie is methodical and plans things years in advance, while Kelly is a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants girl.”
While both Underwood and Clarkson rose to fame in the 2000s on the hit Fox singing competition, this, the source allegedly added, ultimately made them more competitive with each other in the years since.
“As the most successful winners of the show, they’re very completive with each other!” the source reportedly continued. “The constant comparisons drive them crazy.”
